Stutzman Farms Organic Lady Finger Popcorn 1#

$4.99 $4.22

Harvested when the kernels are hard and dry. Popcorn was originally made in clay pots filled with heated sand as recorded in the journals of 17th-century French explorers. The explorers observed this practice in the Iroquois tribes of the Great Lakes region.

Popcorn is a good source of dietary fiber and manganese. It is a source of protein and zinc, as well as magnesium and phosphorus. It has trace amounts of B-complex vitamins, iron, potassium, copper, and folate. Popcorn is considered a low-calorie, low-glycemic food.

Stutzman Farms

Stutzman Farms is the family owned farm in Fryburg, just south of Mount Hope that supplies us with Certified Organic granolas, flours, and other grain products.
Stutzman Farms focuses on local and organic farming, as well as the on-site mill. For 35 years they have supplied milled organic grain products.
"We offer sprouted grain to aid digestion," says Monroe Stutzman, 2nd generation owner/operator of the farm and mill. "We have many customers who follow a gluten-free diet and use our sprouted rolled oats and spelt flour. We do not bleach our flours or oats, and we do not use bromate or preservatives. If it is unhealthy, we don't carry it!"
