Wendy and Larry own and operate Forbes Farmstead Market and Larry’s niece’s son is the 6th generation on the farm. After both growing up on farms, the couple felt that God was leading them to start a market. Wendy moved to the farm when she and Larry got married in 2016 and Larry quit his full-time job in 2019. They have not looked back. 

They work with 20 different local farms and businesses to supply sustainably raised, organic vegetables, beef, and pork to their community. They have both grass-fed/grain-finished Wagyu beef and all grass-fed Texas Longhorn beef. They sell many other items including: Farm fresh produce, home canned & baked goods, seasonings, sauces, grapeseed oils, and homemade bath & body care.
