Chunk honey is a raw honeycomb straight from the beehive, covered in raw liquid honey. We harvest a chunk of pure raw comb directly from the hive and immerse it in Summer honey.
The delicate wax can be eaten – spread on toast, biscuits, fruit, sandwiches – or eat it plain, as a wholesome candy.
Our Summer honey was harvested from the Deer Creek Valley of Pickaway County in August. A delicate flavor that is sprightly sweet, yet mild.
Each comb square is approximately 10 ounces.
"Our bees visit wildflowers native to the Deer Creek Valley in Pickaway County, Ohio. We practice chemical-free beekeeping, maintaining the health of our hives using only natural methods."
