Fresh Herbs - Mmm
Rosemary is a potent herb, and should be used sparingly. Rosemary pairs well with other herbs, but can be used lightly on its own. Finely chop Rosemary and add it to eggs, cheeses, and roasted potatoes. Use it to flavor stuffed meats or chicken, and vegetables. Add fresh sprigs of Rosemary to soups and stocks for its aroma and flavor, removing the stems at the end of cooking.
Rosemary is a good source of vitamin A and beta-carotene, as well as the minerals potassium and calcium.

Creekside Green House and Produce
Jonathan and Lovina Byler run Creekside Greenhouse and Produce in Danville, Ohio. Their children and extended family help with the work, which includes growing produce as well as annual and perennial flowers in the greenhouse.
The farm uses integrated pest management as part of its growing practices. Ground cherries are among the crops documented in Yellowbird’s producer information, alongside the broader produce work at the farm.
If something unfamiliar catches your eye, you don’t have to turn it into a complicated recipe. Start with one item and a simple way to use it. Leave room for a new ingredient without rebuilding the whole week’s menu.
